I’m so glad you’ve chosen to join this journey of movement, meditation and strength sessions, designed to set you up for January and the year ahead. Sundays are your space to pause & reconnect, whilst Tuesdays are about building strength in body and mind. Santuary sessions are all about exploring movement practices that are infused with mindfulness and breathwork to help you feel grounded and empowered with Spark being that strong energising session. Each session is a step towards peace and power.

Preparing for Success: Creating Your Sanctuary Space
Choose Your Space:
Find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won’t be disturbed. This doesn’t need to be a large area—just enough space to move freely without bumping into furniture.
If possible, set up near a window for natural light or in a space that feels calming to you.
Set the Tone:
Create an environment that helps you feel grounded and focused:
Light a candle or use soft lighting.
Bring in comforting elements like a plant, a cozy blanket, or anything that makes your space feel special.
Turn off or silence notifications on your phone and other devices to minimise distractions.
Gather Equipment:
Essential Items:
A yoga or Pilates mat, or a soft surface for floor work.
Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
Optional Props:
Light hand weights (or filled water bottles) to add some resistance (optional)
A blanket or cushion for seated meditations, breathwork or stretching.
A journal and pen for reflective exercises.
Set Aside Time:
Treat this as your non-negotiable time for self-care. Block out the full session on your calendar, and let others know this is your sacred hour to focus on you.
Arrive a few minutes early to settle into the space, stretch, and mentally prepare.
Mindset & Intention:
Take a moment before each session to set an intention. Ask yourself: What do I want to feel, learn, or release today?
Approach the session with curiosity and self-compassion—this is your time to explore and grow at your own pace.
Post-Session Ritual:
Consider having a small ritual to close your sanctuary time, like sipping a cup of tea, journaling reflections, or simply sitting in stillness to savour the calm you’ve created.
Spark sessions: will require weights - medium will usually be great but choose what is going to work well for you.
Why This Matters:
By consciously setting up our environment and mindset, we will not only enhance our experience during the session but also create a lasting association between this time and our personal well-being. It transforms the practice into a true sanctuary that we can look forward to each week.
Zoom Room
for all sessions in January we will use the same zoom room, I will email out reminders as well as the
